The Cottages at North Beach Plantation

My boyfriend and I got a 1 bed 1 bath cottage here and stayed for 6 days. We absolutely loved it! It was very clean, had a comfortable bed, and the staff was very friendly. The resort offers a great shuttle service that you can either call or if you start walking towards the beach/pools/anywhere else on the resort, they normally drive by and will offer to pick you up. I don't quite understand people who are complaining about the shuttle... you literally only have to start walking and wave one down. It takes almost no effort to get a shuttle. In addition, the hotel pools were great and the resort is reasonably quiet. I will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience with very few complaints. We utilized the shuttle service multiple times during our four-night stay with our two children to get to and from the pool/ beach. We were shocked by how quick it came every time we called. Forewarning, you are not allowed to have golf carts, scooters, or motorcycles on the property. We found this out after renting two scooters, and security was knocking on the door shortly after parking, but they were over-the-top friendly about the situation and helped us quickly find a solution. Not only did they allow us to follow them to a nearby parking lot where we could park the scooters, but Mart, one of the security officers, went above and beyond by giving us a ride back! Our air conditioner also went out. After calling the front desk, they had maintenance come out in which he immediately called a third-party contractor to come and have it fixed immediately. By the time we were done swimming it was fixed! Thank you so much for being so accommodating and helpful; we will be back.

We have stayed here several times. Always rented a house when we went and they were always clean and tidy with updated furniture and décor. This resort has a great location, across the street there is a huge shopping area with plenty of great restaurants and shops to choose from. You're also not far from another large shopping mall area and downtown Myrtle Beach with all of those games and bars. The beach is very nice and so are the pools and hot tubs. We never had any problems with any of the services offered at this resort. If you don't have a pool, you can call the concierge and they will send a golf cart to come pick you up and take you to the pools/beach area which is really nice, the only downside is something you might be waiting and decide to walk. One time we were a part of a wedding also. The venue was very nice and the space was perfect for a medium sized wedding. The restaurant on the resort also has amazing steaks. I have nothing bad to say about this place whatsoever. The only thing I would look at is the time of year you go. We typically go in the beginning of Fall or end of Summer. One time the swim up bar was closed for the season which was a bummer since it's the only way to easily get drinks and food by the water. I would recommend anybody to stay here if you are looking to vacation in the Myrtle Beach area!

My partner and myself stayed at this property for four days. It was very relaxing. We were in a two bedroom townhouse(privately owned) it was very clean and spacious. Everyone at the check in office were awesome. They went over everything they had to offer at the property. Our experience was more than what we expected. They cart that took us around the property to various locations were always there within minutes of calling. Our over all stay was beyond our expectations and will definitely be back next year.
